VISION-04.png

To cultivate a community that is informed on the realities of domestic

violence and prepared to care for victims.

Sisters on the Runway is a national nonprofit organization committed to spreading awareness of domestic violence and providing support for survivors. Founded in Montclair, NJ in 2005, which operates locally through various campuses in the eastern United States, including Penn State University Park, UMASS Amherst, The New School NYC, and CRLS High School. Together, they have raised over $80,000 to combat domestic violence.

Since 2014, SOTR Penn State has been giving back to the community by partnering with Centre Safe (formerly the Centre County Women’s Resource Center) through fundraising events like the annual Spring Fashion Show and the Walk A Mile In Her Shoes March. The fashion show is student run and supported by volunteer student designers, models and local businesses.
